Enjoy the Camino de Santiago at your own pace.
10-14km (6-9 miles) per day 3-5 hours per dayOur Gentle Hiking Tours on the Camino Frances are designed with the part-time hiker in mind.
People for whom taking photos, meeting the locals and enjoying a long lunch are as important as the hike itself.
Look out for the 📜 symbol: these itineraries cover at least the last 100km of the Camino Frances - if you wish to achieve your ‘Compostela’ (i.e. the official Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Certificate), you should choose one of these itineraries.
Slow Pilgrimage: Our 'Slow Pilgrimage’ hiking tours on the Camino focus on the last 100km between Sarria and Santiago at a slower pace. Over nine or ten relaxed walking days you cover less daily distance than on our standard Gentle itineraries. With just 10 - 15km (6 - 9.5 miles) to walk each day, you will have lots of time to embrace all that the final stage of Camino Frances has to offer. Enjoy the gentle rolling hills of Galicia, explore charming villages with pretty churches, taste outstanding local cuisine, and embrace that famous camaraderie with fellow pilgrims. If the experience is as important to you as the walk - this is the trip for you.
