Day 2 Glenealo Valley and the Spinc
8.1 Miles / 13 Km 4-6 Hrs 550 MetresThis popular walk offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Wicklow. After a visit to the peaceful valley of Glendasan follow the Miners Road in Glendalough to the old ‘miner’s village’. An invigorating climb brings you to a bridge at the top of the valley from where hundreds of wooden steps lead to a ridge above the lake with spectacular views back towards Glendalough. Descend via the Poulanass Waterfall to the two lakes and the monastic village.

Day 3 Trooperstown Hill
6.2 Miles / 10 Km 3-5 Hrs 350/390 MetresA gentle walk south from the village of Laragh leads you to mixed woodland and then up to the top of Trooperstown Hill from where you often have wonderful views of the Wicklow Mountains and towards the sea in the east. Descend through Trooperstown Wood with its tall pine trees and across the Avonmore River before you have a choice of routes to lead you back to Laragh.
