Delia hails from the heart of the Galway countryside. Growing up surrounded by Ireland’s lush, rolling landscapes, Delia’s connection to nature was fostered from a young age. Her earliest memories are filled with the sights and sounds of the Irish countryside, as her family loved to take her on hikes throughout Ireland. Although, as a child, she might have grumbled about being dragged along on these family adventures, those experiences deeply ingrained her love for the great outdoors!
Delia’s passion for hiking has grown over the years, transforming her childhood pastime into a fulfilling career. She takes immense pride in her role at Hillwalk Tours, where she gets to work closely with local Irish businesses and share her knowledge and love for Ireland’s natural beauty with visitors from around the world.
When Delia isn’t working, she immerses herself in her other great passion—the arts! An avid theatre-goer, she finds inspiration and joy in exploring the vibrant cultural scenes of Ireland. You’ll likely find her attending a play at the local theatre, catching the latest exhibit at a gallery, or perhaps even participating in her own creative endeavours!
