Peter is a Limerick man but grew up in County Clare, an area renowned for its natural beauty, traditional music, and friendly people. He has fond memories of childhood holidays on the Clare coast, crediting this time for his love of nature and the great outdoors. He developed an interest in the hospitality industry in his early twenties and left his studies behind to pursue a career in management where he went on to work in award-winning restaurants and gastro pubs. After ten years in hospitality, Peter returned to college to complete a degree in Media and Philosophy. With his education, hospitality experience, and his own love for hiking and nature being the perfect combination, working at Hillwalk Tours was a no brainer!

Outside of work, you will find Peter going for long walks along the River Shannon or searching for the best Pizza in Ireland. He has a deep interest in wellbeing & meditation, while also enjoying work outs at the gym, and hikes with friends. He finds that being surrounded by nature is often the perfect way to get in touch with your inner self & to also kick back and relax! Peter also shares a passion for sports and at times writes human interest sports news for his local paper. He is a die-hard Leeds United supporter and follows mixed martial arts.
