Rhiannah is from Dunnamaggin, a small rural town in County Kilkenny, but spent a lot of her childhood in County Waterford. As a child, she was always trying to find new forms of entertainment in the great outdoors, whether that was climbing trees, building forts out of sticks or even attempting to build a pool in the back garden! Her love of culture, languages and people led her to study psychology and Spanish in SETU Waterford where she lived for 3 years. Here she was surrounded by beaches, the Waterford Greenway and all sorts of diverse trails to explore in her free time, which led to a greater appreciation for nature.
Rhiannah decided to join Hillwalk Tours as she was excited by the idea of combining her hobbies with her work and extending this to others! Her role as a Customer Experience Support Associate focuses on any and all things customer service-related, whether that is simply answering queries regarding the tours or sorting out booking requests. With her extensive background in retail, she loves providing people with pleasant experiences!
Outside of work, Rhiannah can usually be found reading a good book! However, she loves to garden and grow vegetables and always keeps a bunch of fresh herbs near the kitchen. Known as the foodie in her family, she loves to cook (but can’t bake!) and enjoys hosting dinner for friends and family. Crocheting and embroidering are also strong passions of hers – she likes to challenge herself and take on new projects for family and friends’ birthdays. She always tries to dedicate her weekends to exploring a new trail and loves nothing more than reading a book by a river on a lovely, sunny day!
